Pierre Lotti was an orientalist writer and a marine officer; he sailed all around the world with our grand-father.
The orientalish atmosphere of the bedroom encourages reverie. On the sofa, the profusion of the shimmering cushions, the rich sculptures of neo Gothic panelling, the hanging of the taffeta curtains with sparkling pendants, and the golden arabesques of the pieces of braid are reflected in the mirrors and invite to journeys into a magical world filled with Oriental fragrances.
The bathroom, in which the gossamer hangings hide the bath, is an ode to relaxation. A large window lets the sun shine in and the view on the park is gorgeous. Everything is calm and peace.
